Here is the list of players scheduled to take the field.
There's been a lot of banter about how the Aussies are average - and what a joke being beaten by the Samoans (yeah, guess it was...), and how South Africa are putting out their B team.
Well TELL THAT TO THE GUYS TAKING THE FIELD! All these lads will be giving it 120%, including a number of newbies and fringe faces who are working to chisel a spot in their respective Rugby World Cup squads. A few of the old crew must be raising a sweat with their spots now open for debate.
For us Fantasy Managers, there's a truckload of talent to choose from, but with cash tight in round 1 there's got to be a few trade-offs for sure. Plus there's some big decisions on a trading strategy, which there is a lot of in this series. On average, half your roster MUST change each round purely as a result of the draw. What about injuries and rotations? A few more risks may be needed to make a winner out of this one.
I'm really looking forward to game 1, it's sure to be an exciting watch. I'm picking the Wallabies will spin an little backline magic and come out on top. The back 3 are a super exciting bunch, Ashley-Cooper is no mug, and with Cooper and Genia stirring it up on the inside - lookout!
