Did you notice it was up and running?
Oh, were there some games in Australia already?
How big has your interest in the Super season been to date?
It's started... but not really started. No offence to the teams that played this weekend, but there's been a serious misfire in the engine room. (A bit like James O'Conner's hair.)
I can appreciate that the B & I Lions are coming to town, and creating space for a series against the men in red is always a must. But what the heck happened to the Super Rugby? Where's the hype and excitement of kicking off with a giant BANG! Something has slipped on through without me noticing.
A suggestion to the powers that be is that they NEVER stagger the start of this series again. I like the hype generated by the media, building up anticipation as we are released into an all-out battle. I look forward to a round where all teams shake out their cobwebs, where opinions are formed and ingtrigue created as we immediately try to figure how sides will fare through the season.
Bring on next weekend, it will be a ripper! Game on bro!
Will the new boys show their hands. Charles Piutau (Blues), Ardie Savea (Hurricanes) and Solomona Sakalia (Chiefs) are a few from NZ.
Will Israel Folau stand up for the Waratahs, and can he carry the League mantle that SBW left behind? Warm up games hint that he just might.
