Super Rugby Round 7 Team of the Round celebrates the largely unknown players including Hurricanes loose forward Brad Shields along with team-mate Alapati Leiua who benefitted from playing the Southern Kings. George Whitehead and Steven Sykes from the Southern Kings also gained selection, Heath Tessman and Brendan McKibbin are two other absolute bargain priced gems.
We had a tie, with both Adriaan Strauss and James Hanson getting the second tight forward spot.
There are also some relatively regular players like Steven Luatua, Hosea Gear, Alapati Leiua and Robbie Coleman making the Super Rugby Round 7 team of the round.
