Super Rugby Round 5 was full of upsets and there were some unlikely heroes including Raymond Rhule from the Cheetahs who scored two tries and 480 points to be the www.testrugby.com Player of Round 5. Rhule is excellent value for money given he costs less thant $500,000.

There were plenty of other surprises in the Super Rugby Team of Round 5 with no hookers in the squad and the inclusion of some other relative no names including Elliot Dixon who didn't even play a full match for the Highlanders against the Hurricanes.

It seems that money is no indicator of points scoring in the forwards this week, although there is a sense of normality in the back division with superstars like Dan Carter, Patrick Lambie, Conrad Smith and Hosea Gear making the cut.  The expensive Brodie Retallick didn't even score positive points this week!

The Chiefs and Hurricanes have the most players in the Super Rugby Round 5 Team of the Round with three players each.

New Zealand has the most players in the Super Rugby Round 5 Team of the Round again with six players.
