The defining clash of this series, it's a sellout crowd and gonna see some fireworks!
We've seen two rip-snorter games in the series already with first the Wallabies and then the All Blacks ripping the Springboks apart. These were two outfits operating with vision, speed and precision. Dry grounds with wingers scoring great tries is what rugby is all about!
This weekend is shaping to be one heck of a cracker, well recognised by the NZ public with a likely sellout crowd in the extended Eden park. It's already surpassed the biggest crowd of the modern era in NZ with over 50,000 tickets sold, and will likely reach the 61,000 max. Thousands of lucky punters in the cheap seats will get a perch in the sky atop a bunch of simple scaffolding in the RWC temporary stands. Lucky them, don't know that you'd catch me up there!
Some are even suggesting this could be a rehearsal for the upcoming RWC final... getting a bit far ahead of ourselves there I think.
My pick for this game is that the Wallabies are in for a lesson on the art of Test Rugby. Eden park is a fortress for the AB's, they've got a full squad and even I was impressed with the superb display last week. I simply don't believe the Aussie outsides will be given the opportunity to show their many talents, at least not too much, and the All Blacks will come through with a comfortable win.
Watch out for Siti to score a hatrick, Genia to irritate, big Ali to fly and Owen Franks to rattle Sekope Kepu.
