Here is a guide to help managers avoid problems!
For those playing Super Rugby fantasy rugby game www.testrugby.com, we are also naming players to watch. You can also join the Super Rugby Tips conference at SuperBru. It is difficult to afford a team if playing salary cap fantasy rugby, so you may have to buy bargains, but there are enough new players in Super Rugby 2015 to give you some options. 2015 seems tough to fill a squad without going over budget. The key is to sell players who have the bye straight away and buy them back early.
In fantasy rugby game www.testrugby.com there are some problems. You have to wait two weeks until Round 10 to get 18 more trades, but unfortunately this weekend the Highlanders, Waratahs and Force have the bye, while next weekend the Chiefs, Hurricanes and Rebels have a rest. The other problem is that some stars, especially from the Springboks are getting rested, with Pat Lambie and Duane Vermeulen were missing last week, while it seems certain that fantasy stud Handre Pollard will be rested either this week or next week. Dan Carter is another player being rested. Also there are some good outside backs not playing this weekend with the bye, like Israel Folau, Kurtley Beale and Waisake Naholo.
Is it worth buying any Hurricanes, Chiefs or Rebels players for one week after some great performances last week from Nehe Milner-Skudder, Sonny Bill Williams and Luke Jones. While James Lowe is also a bargain.
Managers have to look long-term, with the stars in the Brumbies like Stephen Moore and backs like Christian Lealiifano, Joe Tomane and Henry Speight at their cheapest and facing the Cheetahs followed by the Rebels, so they could be worth purchasing.
There are plenty of injuries too, so it is important to check the Super Rugby team lists.
If you run out of trades then you have to minimise the damage with locks probably the lowest scoring position to have a non player in.
