Scotty Donaldson suggests 10 players for managers to consider buying in Super Rugby Round 19.
Super 15 Rugby Round 19 is here and it is the second last chance for
most players to press for higher honours given that only six teams will
make the finals. The main dilemma for most managers now isn't the
budget, but the limited number of trades. www.testrugby.com
don't get any more trades, with the 25 given out in this round to last
you for the remaining rounds. It means planning ahead and if you are
unsure between two players, then go for the better long term option.

Here are 10 Players to Buy in Super Rugby Round 19 for www.testrugby.com
1) Joe Pietersen (Stormers) - The Stormers are playing the Kings in
what should be the most one sided match of the weekend. Watch for
goalkicking fullback Pietersen to score plenty of points.
2) Sam Whitelock (Crusaders) - Whitelock is the best lock in world
rugby at the moment and he will be starting against the Chiefs. It will
be interesting to see how the Brodie Retallick vs Sam Whitelock match
up goes, but he should be good for plenty of points.
3) Deon Fourie (Stormers) - The Stormers still have a shortage of loose
forwards especially without Siya Kolisi who is the latest casualty.
Fourie is listed as a front row forward, but is playing as a loose
forward.
4) Beauden Barrett (Hurricanes) - The derby match between the
Hurricanes and Highlanders should be an open affair given that neither
team still has a chance of making the finals. Barrett loves these kind
of games enabling his kicking and running game to be displayed.
5) Rene Ranger (Blues) - The Blues haven't named their team yet, but
more than likely they will be relying on Ranger to break the advantage
line. He scored a try in his cameo last week. The Cheetahs defence has
been disappointing and will hate tackling this guy.
6) Dan Carter (Crusaders) - 660 points in one game! Enough said!
7) Damian de Allende (Stormers) - This guy finally got a start in place
of Jean de Villiers and scored 400 points including nine go forwards
and eight tackles. He costs under $500,000. Bargain!
8) Alapati Leiua (Hurricanes) - It is great to have some midfield
options. This guy is starting again this week on the wing after coming
off the bench and being impressive. He has scored 3320 points to put
him in the top echelon of midfield backs in the competition.
9) Ash Dixon (Hurricanes) - Dixon is proving to be a useful acquisition
for the Hurricanes. He scored over 300 points last week and will get
game time with no real first choice hookers on the bench. The
Highlanders lineout isn't up to much and so probably won't threaten the
Hurricanes ball.
10) Morne Steyn (Bulls) - Steyn is a great long term option with the
Bulls likely to go deep into the finals. He returns to start this week
after scoring 280 points off the bench last week.
