Genia deserves double Hougaard's points?
I watched both the Reds vs Stormers and Bulls vs Brumbies matches and I find it extremely hard to imagine how Will Genia scored 185 points and F Hougaard scored only 90.
I remember Genia making quite a few mistakes, losing possession on more than one occasion. His stats disagrees with me.
I remember Hougaard making his usual substantial share of tackles. Again the stats disagree.
I'm beginning to think one should be mindful of which games your players are involved in, in terms of the judge's time difference.
Using this case as an example :
The Reds vs Stormers games took place on a Friday evening for the judges. Friday evenings are fun and exciting.
The Bulls vs Brumbies game aired early Sunday morning. Not sure if the judges made hot coffee and watched the game live, or recorded it, and it doesn't matter. It's the last game of the weekend and the scores are due. Two very different scenarios.
Keeping that in mind, I'll be paying more attention to my picks this week. The Blues vs Reds,
Chiefs vs Hurricanes and Force vs Stormers games should score well. Depending on public holidays, I'm guessing the Waratahs vs Crusaders game might also be a good choice. I would be wary of picking Highlanders or Cheetahs.
