A Wellington punter who won $250,000 shows us that NRL results are far more predictable than Super Rugby results, do you agree?
Are rugby league results more predictable than rugby results? A
Wellington punter put $5,000 on the eight favourites in the second round
of the NRL and won $250,000. It is crazy how all eight favourites won
when you compare it to the latest round of Super Rugby which saw only
two out of six favourites win in Super Rugby Round 5 games. Do you
think rugby league results are more predictable than rugby union? It
does mean you can make more money in some ways from rugby if you can
pick the upsets!
A Wellington punter has collected a $250,000 payout from the TAB after successfully picking eight second round NRL winners.
The
punter made the brace call to put $5000 on all eight favourites and he
(or she) needed the Rabbitohs come through last night against the Sharks
in Sydney.
And he would have been sweating the result as the Rabbitohs snuck home 14-12.
The $250,000 payout is the largest the TAB pays out on a single multi-bet.
It is potentially the largest rugby league payout in TAB history.
Have your say!
