Are you pleased Ireland won Six Nations 2014? Who do you think deserved to win the title?
Ireland have won Six Nations 2014 after holding on to beat France 22-20 and give Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll the perfect retirement present. It was dramatic win for Ireland after a late French try was disallowed by referee Steve Walsh. Do you think it was a forward pass? The win lifts Ireland to their Six Nations title since 2009 and knocks England and France out of contention in a tense finish.
England knew they were up against it going into the final round of Six Nations 2014. They had to make up a deficit of 49 points to Ireland and they still had a shot at the title after posting a half century past the Italians. Wales repeated the dose to Scotland in the other game of the round with a 51 - 3 win after Scotland's Stuart Hogg was red carded early.
Here is the forward pass in the France vs Ireland game. The player who passed the ball had his momentum stopped just after he passed it, although I don't think you can complain about it being ruled forward. Do you agree with the decision? Who said there was no room for sentiment in rugby?
In the Super Rugby Tips SuperBru conference micko wins easily. Half of the conference picked all three winners, although England and Wales won by more than what most people predicted.
