Who was the best player in Super Rugby Round 19?
The forgotten man of New Zealand rugby Colin Slade was the top points scorer in www.testrugby.com
The www.testrugby.com Super 15 Rugby Round 19 Team of the Round features plenty of players from the Hurricanes vs Highlanders game of high scoring touch rugby on Saturday night. It was satisfying to see Colin Slade the forgotten man of New Zealand rugby in great form, while several of the players I recommended last week including Ash Dixon, Deon Fourie and Beauden Barrett got plenty of points.
Because of the high scoring Highlanders vs Hurricanes game which contributed 7 players, the New Zealand players dominated the Super Rugby Round 19 Team of the Round with 9 players in total.
Who impressed you in Super Rugby Round 19? It was a case of too little too late as the Highlanders finally lived up to their potential.
