Who impressed you the most in Super Rugby Round 4? Check out the Super Rugby Team of Round 4 below!
The numbers have been crunched and the Super Rugby Team of Round 4 has been named according to statistics by fantasy rugby website www.testrugby.com . Queensland Reds centre Chris Feauai-Sautia scored a hat-trick of tries to help him become the Super Rugby Player of Round 4. The Cheetahs have conceded the most points in Super Rugby 2014 helping fellow Feauai-Sautia's Reds team mates James Hanson and Rod Davies also make the team.
Interestingly the Super Rugby Team of Round 4 is based on the highest points scored by the person in each jersey number and it seems that the locks wearing the Number 5 jersey, earn more than those wearing the Number 4 jersey, hence why Luke Romano made the Super Rugby Team of Round 4, yet his Crusaders team mate Sam Whitelock scored more points than him.
Lions sharp shooter Marnitz Boshoff proved that he is a quality player by impressing from fullback against the Sharks, while Johannes Boom Prinsloo, Damian de Allende and Jacques-Louis Potgieter proved to be excellent value selections.
It is great to see Springboks legend Victor Matfield make the Super Rugby XV Team of Round 4.
The Super Rugby XV Team of Round 4 includes three Crusaders forwards who were obviously made to work hard by the Stormers, while three Reds also made the team.
There are seven South African, five Australian and three New Zealand players which makes for a change. Although two New Zealand teams did have the bye.
For www.testrugby.com managers of 12 man teams there is also a Super Rugby Team of the Round (below). This team contains only one New Zealander, seven South Africans and one Australian. It wasn't the best round for New Zealand teams! There are also plenty of bargain priced performers with half of the team worth a million dollars or less each.
