Scotty Donaldson gives you something to think about while eating your hot cross buns. Here are some picks, what do you think?
Super Rugby Round 7 features some mouthwatering matches combined with
some likely lopsided matches. It looks like the Rebels and Kings will
most likely be on the receiving end of a hiding which in some ways makes
picking margins far more difficult. Last week for example, most people
thought a margin of around 30 points was a bold call, but both the
Sharks and Crusaders passed that with ease.
Other things to watch out for this week for managers of www.testrugby.com
fantasy rugby games and virtual rugby picking competitions are the
absence of some key players this weekend. The Crusaders for example
will be missing Dan Carter and Kieran Read who will leave a big hole in
the team against the Stormers. Tiaan Libenberg is out for the Stormers
too, while Conrad Smith may miss the Hurricanes benefit against the
Kings.
On the positive side, it looks like the Highlanders could finally grab a
win against the Reds. Is this the first time the Reds have played
outside Australia this season? That is a favourable draw! I will be at
that match.
The Cheetahs and Brumbies should also be victorious this weekend and
since they have both been on their overseas adventures, these two teams
are worth a punt as far as having players likely to score some
consistently good points in www.testrugby.com

Super Rugby Round 7 - Players to Buy
For managers of www.testrugby.com
and other fantasy games, here are some players to consider for Round 7.
There are three big teams with the bye next week, so there is no point
buying anyone from the Chiefs, Bulls or Reds if you don't already own
them. Also the Sharks have the bye this week, so if you are a Patrick
Lambie fan then you are warned.
Beauden Barrett (Hurricanes) - The Hurricanes should dominate the Kings
and so Barrett is a great alternative for those wanting a high value
inside back in place of Pat Lambie.
Julian Savea (Hurricanes) - Savea gets plenty of points if his team is
losing thanks to his style of play. He should get on the scoresheet at
least once against the Kings.
Andries Bekker (Stormers) - Over 500 points last week for this man mountain lock. Worth the price!
Steven Luatua (Blues) - Luatua is listed as a lock, but earns great points as a loose forward.
Adriaan Strauss (Cheetahs) - The Cheetahs have completed their tour and
it is time for managers to make hay while they play the hapless Rebels.
Lappies Labuschagne (Cheetahs) - This bargain priced ball running loose
forward is a great lineout forward and should dominate the Rebels.
Victor Vito (Hurricanes) - Vito should get plenty of go forward against the Kings and even the odd try.
Deon Fourie (Stormers) - With the injury to Tiaan Libeneberg then Fourie
has a great chance to push for a permanent starting spot against the
Crusaders.
Luke Whitelock (Crusaders) - Starting in place of the injured Kieran
Read, Whitelock has the pedigree and is a potential bargain.
Jesse Mogg (Brumbies) - Mogg is back at home with the Brumbies. If he
is named to start against the Bulls, he is a points scoring fullback
with his knack of scoring tries.
Stephen Moore (Brumbies) - Moore is the Brumbies hard man. He will love playing the Bulls if named to start.
Hosea Gear (Highlanders) - Gear's style of play and knack of beating
defenders should mean he gets plenty of opportunities against the Reds.
Who are you picking this week? Have your say!
