Scoring

I'm not of the complaining type of people but how can Wynanand Olivier only score 30 points? He surely didn't just go forward once! And only 8 tackles? The commentry complimented him on defending so well, but I can't believe he made only 8 tackles.

Adn Morné Steyn. Yes, he didn't have his best game ever, but there's no way he only scored 85!! The beginning of the season he was playing worse and scored better.

Please have a look at these scores!!

	6 . turmeric 30 May 2012 10:23 AM I start getting a bit lost when your argument about concerns over errors with test rugby points allocation coincides with comparisons of "how well" the player played. The fact is test rugby points don't necessarily reflect how well a player preforms. I have issues with the way points are scored too at times, and you may well be right that both players should have been allocated more points (I dont know), but when you start saying things like "The commentry complimented him on defending so well" and "The beginning of the season he was playing worse and scored better" I get the sense that you are missing the point a bit with how test rugby allocates points. It's purely about statistics and has nothing directly to do with how well a player is perceived to play.

	2 . netbaas 21 May 2012 07:26 PM Yeah, I always take it on the chin. Like with Ben Smith, I can take that 80 because he didn't play up to standard. With the other low scores, I'm sure there is at least another couple of points there. Like I said, I'm not complaining, just mentioning as I feel it's a bit harsh done there.
