Billy Twelvetrees and Calum Clark are among those who have been included in England’s 33-strong squad for the upcoming Six Nations.
Twelvetress’ Gloucester team-mate Freddie Burns, with whom he has formed a formidable partnership this season, is also included.
Burns, Launchbury, Tom Youngs and Mako Vunipola are all formanlly promoted to the full squad after impressing during the autumn internationals.
The England management now have to name a larger squad sue to the requirement of having an eight man replacements bench.
People who miss out include Gloucester's Charlie Sharples and Northampton’s Phil Dowson, who drops into the Saxons squad while centres Anthony Allen and Jordan Turner-Hall make way for Burns and Twelvetrees.
Toby Flood is allowed to be named after he was cleared to play in the Six Nations despite a citing for a alleged tip tackle.
Clark will try to make up for lost time after being handed a 32-week ban when he pleaded guilty to breaking the elbow of Leicester hooker Rob Hawkins in the LV= Cup final.
England coach Stuart Lancaster has been a long-term admirer of the Northampton forward since his days as Academy coach and included him in last Six Nations squad.
Lancaster’s men begin their Six Nations campaign on February 2 with a home tie against Scotland.
They are widely seen as second favourite behind 2011 World Cup finalists France in the Six Nations betting last year’s winners Wales meanwhile are not expected to reach the same heights if their Rugby odds are anything to go by.
Their preparations for this year’s editions of the tournament have been hampered by both a severe injury crisis and the loss of their coach, Warren Gatland, to the British & Irish Lions squad to tour Australia in the summer.
